The Sandy Spring Friends School Summer Academy prepares students entering grades 6 through 12 for academic success in the following school year, higher-education, or extracurricular intellectual pursuits. Using an inquiry-based learning approach and under the direction of talented, experienced teachers, the Academy's programs are specifically designed to improve critical thinking and encourage skill acquisition among Summer Academy students.
